Yes, we carry full public liability insurance on every job. You can request a copy of our insurance certificate before we begin any work.

We've got over 50 years of experience working with loft conversions and in specialist roof construction which means you can trust us. However, in the rare event something does go wrong when we're installing your loft ladder and boarding, we're fully insured and will cover any repair work to the highest standard.

You don't need planning permission to install a loft ladder, loft hatch, or loft boarding. If you plan to use your loft for anything other than storage you will require planning permission.

It depends on your ceiling height, hatch opening size and the space available on your landing. We'll assess all of these during a free survey and recommend the right ladder — aluminium 2-section, 3-section concertina, timber or telescopic — for your specific situation.

We supply and fit a range of leading loft ladders including both aluminium and timber styles. We usually recommend a 2 or 3-section aluminium loft ladder for most installations but a timber loft ladder can be a great option when space is limited or a particular style is preferred.
